I've always loved trivia. I'm really not quite sure why. And, as far as I'm concerned, the more obscure the trivia is, the better I like it. It seems to me, though, that other Transfans have sort of cornered the market on the traditional kind of trivia, so I have endeavored to come up with a slightly different variation on the traditional trivia theme... While watching Beast Wars, I was quick to notice that certain trends concerning certain characters tended to recur an awful lot throughout the run of the series. And then I realized that, in some cases, the same thing happened with the original cartoon, too. Not nearly as often, perhaps, but some things did recur. Which, of course, got me to wondering exactly how many times those certain trends recurred over the course of the entire run of each series...And then I was rereading a Star Trek nitpicker's episode guide and ran across several toteboards of various statistics that the author had compiled...and a hideous idea hatched in my noggin. Thus was born Beast Wars trivia toteboard below. It was compiled by me, using the "simple" technique of sitting and watching every episode of Beast Wars with a notebook in hand so that I could count and record each and every occurrence of each recurring event that I had noticed and wanted to tabulate. I then tallied up the total of each occurrence and voilá! The results, for those of you as interested in completely useless trivia as I am, are below for your perusal. One of these years, I'll even get the G1 version done, too...
