Vivisection by aliens, starring the Aerialbots! What fun! :) This one has mild slash references, so avoid it if you no likey that kind of thing… This fic will rise again in Redemptionverse…sort of…but not in the way that I’d originally intended…

This one, friends, is a fangirl extravaganza, written…geez, at least 15 years ago. It was meant to be a sequel to the equally-fangirl story that introduced my avatar, Nightwind. Since that story is now dead (see below), this one is similarly dead. It takes place in the “gap” between the G1 cartoon and the (1986) movie. Involves a mutiny/invasion at Decepticon Headquarters, but becomes rather…stupidly epic…as it goes on. I tried to extract decently-written bits that:
A) Involve characters that I don’t often write about, just for variety’s sake
B) Don’t involve too much fangirlyness
C) Are reasonably understandable out of context.
Note: For this story I invented a chief medic for the Decepticons. Her working name was Nightingale, which likely would have changed by the time I finished this thing, had I ever finished it. I wasn’t thrilled with the name for a variety of reasons, and not only because it would be a second fan character of mine whose name started with “night.” In any event, I figured the ‘Cons needed a full-time medic; Hook can’t be everywhere at once, you know? :)

The only Beast Wars fic I ever attempted to write. I didn’t finish it and doubt that I will because my brief flare of intense Beast Wars fandom pretty much fizzled a long time ago. Interestingly, though, this was the first time I experimented with a multi-viewpoint first-person story, which is the style that the long-forthcoming “Redemption” turned out to be written in. So I was kind of cutting my teeth on the style as I was messing around with this story. It’s your standard "Man (er, Machine) vs. Mother Nature" kind of story and is set shortly after the first-season BW episode “Victory.”
Warning: Contains a fan character. Of course it does. *rolls eyes*

I had the idea that I should write a story in which The Humans Strike Back™. I didn’t get very far with it, but of all these stories that I’m excerpting here that have nothing to do with Redemptionverse, this one just might be one that I will resurrect in some fashion one day. Because it was fun.
Warning: Contains a human genius character who isn't Chip. Of course it does. :)

This puppy is my oldest Transformers story, written in the late 80s, and…it isn’t very good. At one point in time, I made a half-hearted attempt to rewrite it and make it less dreadful. I lost interest in the face of Redemptionverse stuff. I suppose one day I will have to create a new origin story for Nightwind, since she is slated to appear in Redemptionverse, albeit as a much different, more mature sort of character. So, this story is officially dead. But here’s a teensy bit of it that I rather liked, that might or might not find its way into Nightwind's new origin story, whenever I actually write the silly thing…

Of course, this fic hasn't been abandoned at all. It's a novel that's been in the making for almost six years because of Real Life Crap happening and wreaking havoc with my writing time. But it will be completed soon, as it's in final edit. However, the story's been a long time in the making and, as such, has changed somewhat in conception over that period of time. It was always going to be a first-person story told from several different characters' viewpoints, but it took us a while to decide exactly whose viewpoints to use. For a while, Prowl was in the running for one of those "berths." Eventually, he was cut...but not before I wrote this scene here. So, I thought I'd share it, since it no longer "officially" exists. :)
Of course, like the rest of "Redemption," this bit isn't all my doing; it's co-written with Frostbite.
Oh, and this one, like "Redemption" as a whole, is slash. Avoid it if you don't like that stuff.

Many moons ago, I suggested an alternate Transformers universe wherein the Autobots were the bad guys and the Decepticons were the good guys. Other people ran with the idea far more effectively than I could. I did attempt to write two stories for the continuity, but I tend to be a slow, short-attention-span writer even at the best of times, and I never finished either one in time to fit them into the universe that others were creating far too quickly for me to keep up with. So here’s a bit from one of the stories, which was actually going to be about the Mirrorverse Dinobots. This is just the "prologue," though, and it only has Optimus Prime and Prowl in it.
One day, I will reuse that title, though. I like it too much to let it languish on a story that will never be finished...
"Jazz Needs a Hug"
This is just a little something that occurred to me at work one day. I don't know why; it just bloomed in my head. Originally, I posted it in my journal. Then I went and altered the ending of it because of a suggestion that Frostbite made that I just couldn't resist. Poor Jazz... :) This one is most definitely slash.
"Tower"
This is a li'l response to one of Epona Harper's "Use This Line" challenges. It's just a little thing about Fireflight being stuck on top of the Sears Tower. Too short to be considered a "real" fic, but I like to think that it's a fun little piece...
