Once upon a time, a friend of mine, by the name of Zobovor, clued me in on the fact that it would be possible to create animations from sequential screen captures. He even cajoled me into making the screen caps for him for one...and then, of course, I realized the possibilities. *sigh*

Thus was born a brief obsession with making an animation for as many of the Transformers characters as I possibly could. Below are the ones that I created during that obsessive binge, along with one or two that aren't transformation sequences. Who knows? Maybe one day the obsession will re-flower, but in the meantime, what you see below is it. In the interests of keeping page-loading times down, you won't see the actual animations on this page. You'll have to click on the links to see them. All of them loop, so they'll play over and over and over again. Most — but not all! — of them are on transparent backgrounds so that they'll look good on just about any web page background, should you feel a need to snitch them.

And please do feel free to snitch these, if you like. All I ask is that you copy them to your own hard drive and upload them to your own server rather than directly linking to them from here. I pay for my bandwidth; please don't freeload. Credit to me would be nice, too, as most of these do represent several hours apiece of painstaking work on my part...

Transformation sequence. I'm not really fond of this one because he's not fully in frame, but I thought I'd see how it would come out. Besides, it's about the only sequence of Blue's that will remotely work for my purposes. :S

Transformation sequence, and a very experimental one, at that. This one's sort of on its original background. (Hence, the large file size) However, I replaced the entire sky in every frame with something that looked a lot better. AND I had to paint out at least a part of Spike from each frame, too. OP turned out pretty well, though, if I do say so myself,... :)

A Decepticon Raider...
Not a transformation sequence, but a little ani of the scene where Ramjet head-butts a knight of his horse. Makes me grin, it does. ;) Please note that I only did the screen captures for this one. Zobovor compiled it.

This one I did mainly to see how an ani would look if I kept the original background. The answer is "not too bad...but it jacks up the file size by quite a bit..."
